Nice one! Our first hosting of the F1 Night Race has just ended,
with jus a few crashes, and quite some bit of exciting parts..
Well, actually found it very exciting, since tis is my 1st time watching F1.. lol.
Mountain Tortoise eh..
I think its better to watch from home rather than on scene,
cos i'l be able to see round the circuit, rather than jus seeing the cars zoom past me? haha..
N Yes, I think Singapore's night view is beautiful =)
I'l never get to go round on those roads past 90km/h,
let alone at those F1 cars speeds . . . haha

A List of Resolutions
Resolutions for the next half of the semester
1) Stop Procrastinating and continue mugging hard and constantly!
ie . do tutorials constantly and not slackk halfway thru..
2) Stop Slacking (in close relation to point no. 1)
3) Doing my duty =) *grinz*
It's Week 7 . Second half of the semester is here.. Time to pull up my socks..
Cannot just let studies roll on slowly.. Not if I want to have a good boost for my CAP.
Been spending so much time of design project, meetings or thinking of things,
though it might not seem like i put in much effort on the outsides .
I think I left other things aside too much already..
So, time to pull up my socks.. A damn hard good pulll . . .
Must jiayous with Deardear :)
In the past week, been spending some time with Dear, studying and doing stuffs tgt,
and exercising too..
How I wish time didnt fly so fast..
But for us, it was time well-spent..
and We'l continue focus, and continue working hard to achieve our goals, right? :)
One major event for me at the end of this yr..
On 7 Dec 08 . Standard Chartered Marathon . . . 42.195km .
I probably cant run all the way for the whole event,
cos of my potential knee problems..
have been taking glucosamine, hope it will help somewhat..
But I'll try to finish the thing ba, even if it means walking most of the way?
and finish it with Dear..
and another aim : to get at least IPPT Silver by the end of the year!
Yepp, my 2 aims by the end of this yr 2008 . (ie, on the sporting side) ..

updates after 1 monthhh
haha.. well, almost one month since i last touched my blog.. been a busy time.
Numerous things have come and gone..
and many more memories formed along the way =)
Mondays to Thursdays are working days..
Fridays and Saturdays are spent with my special someone..
Fridays in school, until evening.. Saturdays at Dear's house, doing work or stuffs tgt..
Most important . . . =)
It's been almost 4mths since we are tgt already.. It's a great new life, with many new things, and many many more to come =) We caught many things together, such as the Singapore Fireworks Festival, as well as movies.. Wall-E was especially nice! =) A movie with almost no conversations or words in it.. but all the expressions were all so well-expressed.. it was a movie which i enjoyed with Dear most.. plus watching at the Grand Cathay with the nice comfy seats.. haha.
Yup, things do need some adapting along with this 'new life'.. She's already immersed into my life for literally almost everything.. and i've got no complaints :p . jogging and swimming together just arent so sian anymore.. (though i am a slow runner.. gotta train up! haha) . Each time we are together, time just seem to fly past so fast.. and before we know it, night is already here, and its either time for me to go back for dinner, or rest.. Am slowly getting to noe some of her hall-mates, her direct neighbours, as well as the level3 guys.. so at least, it wun make washing up in hall (if i ever do) so stealthy.. hahaha.
There have been ups and downs along the way, times where i felt lost, frustrated, Dear never failed to be there with me whenever she could.. and times when she was involved in IBG or playing sports, I just cant help but worry bout her knees and ankle..
Dear's family have been taking good care of me too, and I've never felt so touched and gan dong for a long long time.. I've spent quite a bit of time eating at her house with her family, and each time never fails to be a great relaxing time.. and the 4 tyres were just . . . wow .. thank you =) I also hope that tis semester we can pull our CAP together.. and we'l continue working hard together! =))
School Life . . . . .
Back to school life, well, the ME3101 SATS project have been keeping me busy.. with meetings and discussions, ideas thinking and refining, and looking out for new suggestions.. my ironing board came into play! like how it works, what makes it work, the mechanisms and all.. the project also allowed me to have a first hand view of the workers on the ground.. ie the loading and unloading of airplanes, coming up close to an airplane from beneath the giant plane, looking at the equipments and vehicles moving around on the tarmac 24/7, I've never thought i'd get a chance to experience all these first-hand.. Well, now I did :) though some experiences are interesting.. such as, we all have to book-in at the airport police pass office in T2 to obtain a visitors' pass before we can enter the complex, and this means exchanging our ICs for a pass.. well, for me, I only have my SAF 11B (green IC), and this means it is my form of identification, ie my IC. So naturally, it is what i use for exchanging for pass.. Both times which i was at the airport, the guards gave tat shocked look, like "who's 11B is this?", and I hav to surrender my NUS matric card as well, since they said 11B's are allowed.. though i dont really know why that is so, I just do it.. (I'm still wondering why SAF 11B's arent allowed for exchanging of visitors' passes in the complex).. anyways, working with SATS is definitely a whole new experience altogether, though for now, bulk of the time is still spent in school..
Having spent so much time on the project and long days in school, inevitably, some "sacrifice" have been made out of my other modules, and so, this mid-term breakk tis wk is about time to play "catch-up" with the lectures and modules.. once again, the slackness of ME Dept prevails, and we dont have any midterm tests (as compared to Dear having 5.. oops. haha . ).. tis is both good and bad.. Good, meaning, we still can afford to catch up at our comfortable pace (though it shldnt be too comfortable, ie too sloww).. but bad --> this means our percentages of CA are only 20-80.. ie 20% labs, 80% final exam.. that's one heck of a big percentage to place upon our final exam.. and well, midterm tests, though we do dread it if we have them, actually do make us study and keep up with the work, so that we do not have to cram work tat came in right from the beginning of the semester into the last 2 3wks before the exam..
Well, I shld do some studying tis week.. I reali reali should, if i want to pull up my CAP somemore . . .
Nokia E51
I've just changed my hp to the new Nokia E51 over the weekend, for $0, since i was just renewing my contract.. now Student Plan unlimited SMS to singtel user.. yayyy!! =P initially, during the Jul hols, i thought that the E51 would be a little bit too small for my fingers, and when Daniel (Teo) first suggested to me to try changing to that, I din explore tat idea.. however, now that my renewal was due, I couldnt resist getting the phone without cost (other than $6 for the screen protector), and yepp.. now i'm using it.. so far it's proving to be fine *touch wood*, and the speed is definitely faster than my E60.. though my big fat fingers sometimes do press 2 keys instead of 1 when i type too fast.. lols.
F1 in Singapore: the night race
F1 is coming.. drove thru part of the road outside Suntec City on friday evening, while they switched on part of the super bright lights to test them.. while night cant be changed into day for sure (that'd upset the whole solar system and probably a significant aspect of Science), the lights are doing their job of lighting the roads to super bright conditions.. during that brief drive, I felt that the street lamps were useless already.. haha. I hope the event is a success when it starts this weekend, and everything just runs smoothly..
Just had a meeting at the airport again in the morning, followed by discussion at Sam's house, before I met Dear for a swim then go home.. tmr's another meeting with Prof Tay to clear the idea and slides with him..
Car's due for 40000km servicing tmr.. gonna be in school the whole dayy . . . zzzzzz . 0.O
Happy belated mid-autumn festival everyone!
And to everyone who has mid-term tests, jiayous! =)
