A Nation In Concert
A charity concert brought to you by volunteers and charity organisations,
such as :

Association for Persons with Special Needs
Handicaps Welfare Association
Singapore Association for the Deaf
Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped

I watched the concert yesterday with Dear..
It was supposed to be for writing her Sci of music essay, but it couldnt be counted for writing,
so we just watched it, for fun.
It turned out to be well-worth the time, the money..
$70 for 2 ppl.. proceeds go to charity :)
I was very impressed by them performing,
not letting their disabilities get in the way of performing various items
items like singing, playing musical intruments,
even dancing, by the hearing impared..
Much of the moves included sign language,
which also brought the objectives of the show across,
and the words and meanings of the songs to the other hearing impaired community.

I was impressed :)
and very very touched . . .

I feel so lucky..
I suddenly felt so motivated,
and wanting to treasure what we have and make full use of what we can do,
not waste time, and treasure Life ! =)

happy children's day

Happy Children's Day! =)

Yup, today's a public holiday too.. though we're far from the classification "Children"..
In fact, I'm 2x that max classification of age! sheesh..

Today was a slow day..
Morning: thought about modules and schedules for the remaining semesters i have in NUS
then went swimming with Dear when she woke up..
bought lunch home.
My Malay neighbours brought some of their Hari Raya goodies for my family,
and we had it for dinner.. super nice prawns! wahahaa..
A slow afternoon, read thru some HR2002 stuffs, looked at castor wheels again..
stoned and slacked abit.. talked with Deardear n played ard with my webcam :P

"Friends" -- the TV sitcom -- used to perk me up lots when i was sian or just felt like slacking..
but now, even it cant do much for me..
yupp, it still makes me laugh a good deal,
and being able to relate to the show..
Looking at Joey's antics and Chandler's jokes and lameness,
and how Ross and Monica and Rachael and Phoebe behaves,
portraying scenes which sometimes do happen to us in our lives with our close friends :)
but still, nothing beats having Dear around :)

Thursday is here in another 1.5hrs..
Have to do 3 things by this sunday (which are all due on Monday 6 Oct):
1) Design Log Book
2) HR2002 Reflection paper (if only I can make use of the literal meaning of "reflect".
ie. reflect a piece of paper in my mirror.. har har . )
3) E1 informal Lab report

and not that this wkend will be a free one..
3 big activities coming up on Fri Sat and Sunday.. haahaha :)

Big part of me looking forward to this weekend,
but i'm not looking forward to this wk ending so soon..
I wish after every public holiday, the next day wld be reset to monday again.. haha
