open house . .

hm, a pretty long week for me. Tiring, lots of work, and 2 labs! sheesh =X
times-wise, well, there were both ups and downs.
When it was down, it was really down.
But when it was up-times, it turned out well.

Was back in school for open house today. Pretty interesting, considering I was pretty much lost at how to approach potential freshies to get them to sign up for engin camp! =X especially the girls..
And so, I made myself useful by keying into the laptop the particulars as and when the names n details came in, so that I can save the time for whoever who's in charge of consolidating the names.
(well, at least save the time of typing 50+names. haha)
there came a time where we had an overload of ppl at the booth, and the nussu guy had to give us kind warnings time and again. And so, we had to stagger our ppl who stayed at the booths to "attract" ppl.

haha. Kuok Foundation house rooms seem so much nicer than PGP ones! well, at least, for my fren's room =) haha
Makes me wanna stay in one of the rooms, even if it's just for 1 semester.

How can you have an especially long week when all of us have the same seven days?

I find the week too short though, not enough for me to complete what I was expected to finish.

Of course the down times will be down lah, if not why we call them down times? :p

How can you have trouble getting the girls to join the camp? Just say hi and flash your megawatt smile at them. Or command them with your officer grandeur, they will jolly well sign up for them (if not next time lecture they in charge of shouting "room'!).

But great to see you enjoy mingling around with your friends and help out with your faculty. Computing students on the other hand are not that sociable. Who the hell cares about me when I first entered NUS, half the club members from the computing club were weird-speaking geeks that spew bits and bytes. I was lucky not to join them anyways.

Anyway, you visited your friend's hostel at Kuok Foundation house ar? Nice right? I wish I can stay there too, but I just can't part with my bed and computers. Besides, I will miss my blazing fast Internet connection which unlike NUS's, keep having downtimes. But I never knew your friend had an open house to his hostel room too. Oops, house warming la hor?

Heh. Enough of crap from me. I gotta continue hitting the books.
